Marjaavaan box-office collection: Sidharth Malhotra starrer collects Rs 28.4 crore

Marjaavaan movie starring Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh released on November 15. The movie has collected ₹28.4 crore in the first four days since it released. The film had a whopping opening of ₹7.03 crore on the first day. On the second day, the film collected about ₹7.21 crore followed by ₹10.18 crore on the third day and ₹5.5 crore on the fourth day. 

Marjaavaan, the Milap Zaveri directorial, also stars Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh. The film is the second collaboration of Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh. The duo was last seen in Ek Villain, which released in 2014.

Film critics and business analysts tweeted about the box office collections of Marjaavaan

Marjaavaan was released along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty-starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor. But the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer failed to charm the audience. The box office earnings are about ₹1.02 crores in three days. 

In Marjaavaan, Sidharth Malhotra is seen as a local goon whose love interest is Tara Sutaria. In the film, Tara portrays the role of a mute girl from Kashmir. Riteish Deshmukh is seen as a midget villain. Marjaavaan is also clashing with Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Bala which is close to setting its ₹100 crore mark.
