Not In Good Taste: Preity Zinta Reacts Strongly After Misleading Viral Video Alleges Her Of Ignoring Aamir Khan During KBC 18 Shoot

Preity Zinta, along with Sunny Deol and producer Aamir Khan, arrived at the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 to promote their upcoming movie, Batwara 1947. The film marks the actress's return to the big screen after an eight-year hiatus. A video of Preity from the premises of the KBC set during the Batwara 1947 promotion went viral. In the video, some social media pages claimed that the actress ‘ignored’ Aamir Khan, who was standing in the other direction from where Zinta was headed. Days after the event, she took to the comment section of the viral video to hit back at the speculations.

Not cool: Preity Zinta shuts down baseless speculations 

A social media page shared the video of the incident with the caption implying that Priety Zinta ‘ignored’ Aamir Khan. Reacting to this, the actress took to the comment section to write, "This kind of bait content is not cool. I didn’t see Aamir as I was in a rush to shoot some Shots inside & then catch a flight for Batwara 1947 Promotions. Next time pls don’t expect me to stop and take pictures if your intent is to promote any kind of negativity! I have a LOT of love & respect for Aamir, so this is not in good taste."

In the clip, it was clear that the actress was trying to find her way inside the venue while navigating several camerapersons. She could be seen walking in the other direction while Aamir stepped out of his car from the opposite side, making it impossible for her to see him. Preity's reaction to the misleading video circulating online has now gone viral online.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced under Aamir Khan Productions, Batwara 1947 also stars Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. Set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition, Batwara 1947 follows a family whose lives are irrevocably altered as violence, fear and forced migration tear apart communities that once lived side by side.
