Arshad Vs Prabhas: The Tollywood star is enjoying a good run at the box office, with back-to-back hits- Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. The latter, in fact, has been a huge hit not just in the South region, which is the home territory of Prabhas, but also in North India. An analysis of the box office breakup of the Nag Ashwin directorial reveals that it has done more business in Hindi than in Telugu. Now, Arshad Warsi's criticism of Prabhas and his characterisation in Kalki 2898 has left fans furious.

I did not like Kalki: Arshad Warsi

In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi, most popular for essaying the role of Circuit in Munna Bhai franchise, was asked which was the last movie he saw that he did not like. To this, he said, "I saw Kalki (2898 AD) and I did not like it. I am really sad but Prabhas' character was like a joker in Kalki 2898 AD. I want to see Mad Max here. I want to see Mel Gibson over there, but what have you done (referring to director Nag Ashwin). I don't know why he did that."

Arshad's review of Animal raises eyebrows

This is not the first time when Arshad has raised eyebrows with his unfiltered view of a movie. Earlier, his comments on Sandeep Reddy Vanga's controversial film Animal divided netizens. The Munna Bhai MBBS actor called the Ranbir Kapoor ‘a male version of Kill Bill’ and added that he ‘loved the film’. However, when he asked if he would work with Sandeep, he politely declined.
