Ranveer Singh wants Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's deleted scenes to be in OTT version

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt headline the recently released movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The movie hit the big screens on July 28 and emerged as a box office success after its first week run wound up on August 3. Amid the positive response, Ranveer has shared an update on the film’s OTT release.

Ranveer Singh talks about RARKPK deleted scenes 

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been doing well at the box office and is well on track to hit the Rs 100 crore mark in its second weekend. As per media reports, the movie was originally 3 hours 10 minutes long. 22 minutes of the film were trimmed at the edit table. As per reports, some comedy scenes as well as key dialogues did not make it to the final cut.

At the film’s success meet in Mumbai on August 3, Ranveer Singh expressed his desire to see the deleted scenes in the OTT version of the film. He said, “Log demand kar rahe hai ke Rani ka joh theme song tha, and the deleted scenes woh dekhe (People are demanding to see Rani’s theme song and other deleted scenes).” He then requested the filmmakers to include the scenes in the OTT version of the movie. 

Ranveer Singh shares Deepika Padukone’s reaction to RARKPK

At the same press conference, Ranveer shared his wife, Deepika Padukone’s reaction to the film. The Cocktail actress gave the film’s screening a miss as she was not in town.

Ranveer shared that he went to see the movie alone with Deepika later and she called it the most "memorable and fulfilling experience". He then revealed that since he had already seen the film, he was at the theatre just to watch her reaction. He added, “She was laughing, crying, clapping, whistling and oftentimes turning to me. She is very proud of me and I’m very happy about that.”

RARKPK also stars Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra.
