Riteish Deshmukh attended an event on September 9 with his wife Genelia DSouza. The actress donned a purple-coloured, multi-tiered dress at the event which gave rise to the speculation of the actress being pregnant. However, today (September 11), Riteish took to his Instagram account to quash all such rumours in his cheeky manner.

Riteish Deshmukh shuts down rumours of Genelia being pregnant 

On the morning of September 11, Riteish took to his Instagram stories to reshare a media article about Genelia and him expecting their third child. The post read, “Is Genelia D'Souza pregnant? Fans spot baby bump as she poses with Riteish Deshmukh.” The Housefull actor dismissed the report and called it “untrue”.

Sharing the snap of the post he mentioned that he could not ‘mind’ fathering more children but the rumours are false. He wrote, “I wouldn't mind having 2-3 more but unfortunately this is untrue.” The actor’s cheeky response to the reports is going viral on social media. 

What sparked the rumours of Genelia DSouza being pregnant? 

On September 9, Genelia DSouza and Riteish Deshmukh graced the launch of a fashion store in Mumbai. While the actor sported a white shirt paired with blue pants, Genelia donned a purple-tiered mini-dress. Eagle-eyed fans noticed a slightly bloated tummy of the Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa and jumped to the conclusion of her being pregnant. 

The comment section underneath the video was filled with fans speculating if the couple is expecting their third child. While one user questioned, "Is she pregnant?," another commented, "Again pregnant?" Riteish's latest post shuts down all rumours about the same.
