Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani, Rani Mukerji, Kajol Arrive At Ayan's Home To Offer Condolences After Deb Mukherjee’s Death

Ayan Mukerji suffered from a personal loss on March 14 as his father and veteran actor Deb Mukherjee breathed his last at the age of 83. His last rites took place at the Pawan Hans crematorium and several members of the film fraternity were in attendance for the same. Days after the tragedy, actors and family members of the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani filmmaker paid him a visit to offer their condolence and stand by the family in their time of need.

On March 16, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani who are expecting their first child arrived at the residence of Ayan Mukerji. The actress paid him a visit yesterday as well. For the unversed, Kiara Advani is collaborating with Ayan on his next directorial War 2 which also features Jr NTR.

Sidharth Malhotra donned an all-blue ensemble for the visit to the filmmaker's house. A video from outside Ayan's house shows the couple getting out of their car and making their way inside the house. However, mom-to-be Kiara Advani could not be seen as she was guarded.

Vaibhavi Merchant, Kajol, Rani Mukerji also arrive

Not just Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani, but celebrated choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant also arrived at Ayan Mukerji's residence. She was accompanied by actress Rani Mukerji. For the unversed, Rani is the niece of the departed Deb Mukherjee. She is the cousin of Ayan Mukerji.

Kajol, who has been a regular at the Mukerji household since Deb's passing, also arrived today. The actress donned a green shirt for the visit and could be seen making her way inside her brother's house. On his passing, the Fanaa actress took to her Instagram account to pen a note for Deb Mukherjee. She shared a photo with him from Durga Puja and wrote in the caption, “Tradition said that every Durga Puja we would pictures together. When we were all dressed up and looking good. I’m still adjusting to the thought of a world without him. To one of the finest men that I’ve ever known. Rest in peace. You will be loved, remembered and missed every day of my life." Deb Mukerji's brother was married to Kajol's mother and veteran actress Tanuja, making him her uncle.
