Stree 2 Box Office Day 4: Film Crosses ₹200 Mark, Becomes 2nd Highest 2024 Grosser Beating Shaitaan

Stree 2 Box Office: The horror-comedy sequel, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has continued to dominate at the box office. According to Sacnilk, Stree 2 earned around ₹55 crore in India on its fourth day, taking its total collection to ₹190 crore. Stree 2 had an overall 72.74% Hindi occupancy on Sunday with maximum reported in Jaipur region (85.75 per cent), Chennai (84.50 per cent), Bengaluru (82.75 per cent) and Lucknow (80.50 per cent).

In the latest update, as per the report of movie critic Taran Adarsh, Stree 2 has surpassed the ₹200 crore mark. He took to X and wrote, "Call it a STORM or a TSUNAMI or a TYPHOON... #Stree2…..records a SENSATIONAL extended weekend... The two major #Hindi films that released alongside it [#KhelKhelMein, #Vedaa] were severely impacted by the #Stree2 wave. Has hit a DOUBLE CENTURY [₹ 200 cr NBOC] in just *4 days*, a feat accomplished by only a select few #Hindi biggies in the past... A HISTORIC feat for a mid-sized film.

He further wrote, “Hit the ball out of the stadium on Day 4 [Sun], creating HAVOC by surpassing its Day 1 [Thu] numbers [#IndependenceDay]... About the Sarkata legend in Stree 2

Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film Stree 2 introduces Sarkata as the villain, who faces off against Shraddha Kapoor’s character, Stree. This character is the adaptation of real-life lore as it is widely believed that those who die in accidents become this evil entity. According to the local lore in Uttarakhand, the Sarkata Bhoot is not just any vengeful ghost but the spirit of a British officer who died during World War II. This twist adds a historical dimension to the myth with the rich drape of supernatural beliefs.
