She shared how Saif had given her a humorous warning before she started working with Vijay and Jaideep on the project and was asked to change her "working style." Now, in a conversation with Shehnaaz Gill during her chat show Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, Vijay revealed how he felt after listening to Saif Ali Khan's words.

Shehnaaz Gill asked Vijay Varma about Saif Ali Khan’s comment. She humorously asked how it must have felt like he had done something big to be appreciated publicly this way. To this, Vijay described Kareena as a 'secure' actor and expressed his gratitude for her and Saif Ali Khan's generous comments. 

"Yeh unka badappan hai (That’s her generosity) that she spoke about me and Jaideep this way. It was really not needed from her. To put us on a pedestal… it did feel good," he said.

She further asked Vijay Varma about how he managed to shoot romantic scenes with her. “There is a scene, where she’s looking at me in a certain way, and she’s singing. Jaise woh scene aaya, mere toh paseene chutt gaye. Aap nahi handle kar sakte (As soon as that scene came, I was a bundle of nerves. You cannot handle it) She is very beautiful when she performs. She knows that adaayein hai unke paas (she has that poise and charm)," he said.
