Vipul Shah reveals he chose debutant Prem Parrijaa out of 11,000 applicants for Commando

Debutant actor Prem Parrijaa will be seen sharing the screen with Adah Sharma in the upcoming web series titled Commando. The series will also feature Shreya Singh Chaudhary, Vaibhav Tatawadi, Amit Sial, and Ishteyak Khan among others. Recently, the show's director Vipul Amrutlal Shah revealed why he chose to cast Prem Parrijaa as the leading actor in the series.

Vipul Shah on casting Prem Parrijaa in the Commando series

The casting of the Commando series was looked after by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Apparently, they went through 11,000 applicants and multiple auditions before selecting Prem as the face of the show out of all the aspirants. Talking about casting the debutant actor, Vipul Shah said, "Content has been the first priority for me always, and then I search for a face to showcase it the way we have planned the project."

Vipul further mentioned that from the beginning he began to plan the show, he was certain that he wanted to give an opportunity to a new talent to showcase their abilities. Therefore, he cast Prem as the leading actor in the series to provide a stage to an emerging artist. Talking more about the Commando actor, the filmmaker said, "Prem is a young actor with impressive acting abilities and exceptional martial arts and action talents. I was confident that by making Prem the show's face, I was giving the genre and the show its due respect."

Meanwhile, the plot of the series revolves around the conflict wherein Prem Parrijaa's character is torn between a bio-war and a heinous plan.
