Kriti has associated herself with content cinema and her most loved role till now has been Mimi, in which she plays the role of a surrogate. For it, instead of using a body suit, she gained natural weight.

In an interview with IANS, Kriti Sanon said that she has been blessed with a great metabolism. During the July 2021 interview, the actress added that she had to encounter great difficulty, and had to eat ‘way more’ than what was normal for her to gain the weight. Moreover, she said that she would always be, “devouring the oiliest possible breakfast, to gorging on the sugariest of sweets”.
Not only did she have to eat something once every two hours, she wasn’t allowed to do any exercises. Even after it was nauseating to eat more than she could, the Adipurush actress started feeling unhealthy. Kriti Sanon is gone as far as to say that the role was extremely close to her, and for its sake, she would go to any lengths for it. Moreover, the actress said that even if she wouldn’t get to take up any more projects throughout the process, she would do the film.
