Fahadh Faasil to have a cameo in Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo? Here’s what we know

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next Leo will make its theatrical debut on October 19. The film is headlined by Thalapathy Vijay and is said to be a part of the LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe). According to reports, an actor from the director’s previous movie, which is also part of the LCU, will be making a cameo in the Vijay starrer. 

What’s cooking? 

Leo, formerly known as Thalapathy 67, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film will mark the reunion of actors Vijay and Trisha Krishnan for the fifth time. The actors have previously worked together  Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, and Kuruvi. 

Leo’s additional star cast includes Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Gautham Menon. The film will also mark the Tamil debut of veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the lead antagonist. Backed by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, Leo will see the dynamic duo of Vijay and Lokesh working together for the second time. They previously collaborated in the 2021 film Master.

Who's saying what?

Christopher Kanagaraj, a movie tracker, took to his official Twitter handle on Tuesday and stated that Fahadh Faasil will be making a cameo in Leo. The actor was previously part of Lokesh’s other movie Vikram, which is also under the LCU. Reportedly, Fahadh will be reprising his role of Amar from the Kamal Haasan-led movie in Leo. Christopher’s tweet read, “Buzz: There will be a special cameo from Fahadh Faasil as ‘Amar’ from Vikram in #Leo.”

Meanwhile..

Fahadh Faasil was recently seen in  Maamannan.  The actor is also part of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rule. His first look from the movie was unveiled on his birthday on August 8.
