Martin Box Office Collection Day 2: Despite Trolling, Dhruva Sarja Starrer Picks Momentum

Martin Box Office Collection: Dhruva Sarja starrer action drama has been receiving some support from fans after it hit the big screens on October 11. Among the Dussehra releases, comprising Alia Bhatt 's Jigra and Rajkummar Rao starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Martin seems to be the only one managing to strike a chord with the audiences. After emerging as the biggest Kannada opener of 2024, Dhruva Sarja's movie has continued its momentum on the second day.

According to a report in Sacnilk, Martin managed to earn ₹4.72 crore on its second day in Kannada, taking its total business to ₹12.2 crore in all languages in India. With a little business overseas, it now stands at ₹14.3 crore worldwide. While the opening day collection in India was close to ₹7 crore (Dussehra release), the numbers did decline on Saturday. However, still, Martin is managing to pull the audience in.
The afternoon occupany on Sunday was close to 42 percent, which is decent, also indicating a healthy growth in business.
Martin collection steady despite cancelled shows
On the day of its release, reportedly, some shows of the movie were called in regions of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh due to a problem with distributors. However, it braved past the initial roadblock to put up a strong show on the opening day.
It also surpassed Duniya Vijay's Bheema and Malvika Nair and Ganesh's Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi to become the highest Sandalwood opener of 2024. The movie also features Anveshi Jain, Sukrutha Wagle, Achyuth Kumar, Nikitin Dheer and Vaibhavi Shandilya, whose chemistry with Dhruva Sarja is one of the highlights of the movie. It is directed by AP Arjun. Meanwhile, Dhruva Sarja's next is KD - The Devil, planned for a 2025 release.
