Shiva Rajkumar Discharged A Day After Being Hospitalised For Mild Illness

Shiva Rajkumar, who was constantly juggling between campaigning for his wife Geetha and shooting for his films was hospitalised on April 1.

Shiva Rajkumar, who is constantly campaigning for his wife Geetha Shiva Rajkumar for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, was hospitalised after complaining of uneasiness. The reason behind his illness is said to be his hectic schedule around campaigning and film shoots. According to Public TV, on doctor's advice, the actor remained in the hospital for a day. Now he is discharged and has headed to his residence in Bengaluru's Nagavara.

Shiva Rajkumar discharged from hospital

The actor has been juggling between campaigning for his wife Geetha Shiva Rajkumar, who will be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Shivamogga on a Congress ticket, and shooting for his films. On April 1, while shooting for one of his films in Devanahalli, the actor felt uneasiness, after which he was taken to the hospital. Addressing the news of his hospitalisation, his wife Geetha has now shared an official statement, putting fans of the actor at ease. The statement read, “Shiva Rajkumar is doing well. We had to move him from Columbia Asia to Mallya Hospital because of our family doctor. His condition is not serious. He complained of pain on the right side of the body, after which we took him to the hospital”.

Shiva Rajkumar's health had been under the scanner, as recently as last month. He had been hospitalised after complaining about experiencing fatigue, coupled with pain in his right shoulder. The doctors treating the actor at the time had ruled out the possibility of a heart attack and had affirmed his condition as stable. His last stint at the hospital was the result of him complaining about experiencing pain at the time of a workout in the gym of his residence.

What is next for Shiva Rajkumar?

Considering the actor's slight and sudden health complication has been deemed “mild”, it is likely that the actor will proceed with his work on the hefty lineup of projects, awaiting him. For the unversed, his last big banner release was the Dhanush led Captain Miller, which marked its theatrical release on January 12. This was followed by Kannada language action drama Karataka Damanaka which released on March 8.

The actor is currently filming for Bhairathi Ranagal, the official prequel to his 2017 neo-noir action thriller, Mufti. Also in the lineup is Ram Charan's RC 16, with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead.
