Thalapathy Vijay is currently gearing up for Leo release. The Lokesh Kanagaraj film marks his second collaboration with the filmmaker after the 2021 hit Master. After the success of Vikram (2022), which made more than Rs 450 crore worldwide, Vijay’s upcoming action film has managed to create huge anticipation. Now, a new poster of Leo has been unveiled.

3 things you need to know

  • The film has been written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
  • Leo is Thalapathy Vijay’s 67th film.
  • It will also feature Sanjay Dutt, who will mark his Tamil debut.

Thalapathy Vijay 'continues to keep calm'

The latest poster of Leo once again carries on the trend of "keeping calm". However, the Tamil poster contradicts the message displayed in the very first poster. It displayed the message, “Keep calm and avoid the battle.” Now, the message reads, “Keep calm and prepare for battle.” See the poster below.

Leo’s latest poster features Thalapathy as he sharpens a sword-like weapon. He is once again featured in his salt-and-pepper look, and seems to be intently preparing for the aforementioned battle. This is a far cry from another poster, which said, "Keep calm and plot your escape."

Leo poster delayed out of respect for Vijay Antony

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is currently at the height of its promotional activity. Since the film is going to be released in theatres on October 19, 2023, the makers have been pushing out new posters of the film on social media. On September 19, the Hindi poster for Leo was to be released. In light of Tamil actor-cum-music composer Vijay Antony’s daughter Meera’s unfortunate death by alleged suicide, it was decided by the makers to not release new material on September 19 out of respect for the actor and his family.
