Mammootty Getting Younger By The Day: Netizens Fawn Over Bazooka Actor's Latest Look

Malayalam superstar Mammootty, popularly known as Mammukka has been entertaining the masses with his acting and action for nearly four decades. He has done over 400 films in Malayalam and other South Indian languages and some others in Hindi and English language. However, most recently the actor has been making headlines for his youthful looks and new avatar. 

Mammootty’s new look goes viral

On October 12, Mammootty took to his Instagram account to share a glimpse of his new, youthful look. In the picture, the 73-year-old actor is seen sporting a baggy jeans, a white t-shirt, and a long overcoat draped casually over his shoulder. 

As soon as he posted the photo, his fans and social media users took to the comment section to appreciate his new look. They commented on how the veteran star is ageing like fine wine. One user wrote, “Have mercy on us”. Another user wrote, “Can't believe bro is literally 73 years old”. “Mamukka fan attendance”, wrote the third user. A fan mentioned, “Even now he can give today's actors a run for their money.” 

What’s next for Mammootty?

Mammootty is busy with his upcoming film titled Bazooka. The Malayalam action thriller directed by Deena Dennis will star the veteran actor in the lead role. The film is produced by Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V. Abraham, Vikram Mehra and Sidharth Anand Kumar under the banners of Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams.

The official title was announced in April 2023. Principal photography began in May 2023 in Kochi. The music was composed by Midhun Mukundan, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Nimish Ravi and Nishadh Yusuf. Bazooka is scheduled to be released in December 2024.

Mammootty was last seen in Turbo. Directed by Vysakh, the film featured Raj B Shetty, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Niranjana Room and Bindu Panicker among others. The film which was released on May 23 this year to mixed reviews.
