Mark Antony Box Office Collection Day 4: Vishal, SJ Suryah starrer passes Monday test

Mark Antony was released on September 15 and created plenty of hype with its light-hearted tone and sci-fi concept. The Adhik Ravichandran film seems to have a lot to offer, which is being reflected in its positive reception. Now that the film has crossed its first Monday, here's how the film performed in four days at India box office.

Mark Antony passes Monday test

Mark Antony enjoyed a decent haul in its first weekend. When it came down to Monday, where a film has to sustain its performance in relation to the collection over the previous days, Mark Antony held up.

On its fourth day, as per Sacnilk, the Tamil film made Rs 7.52 crore. Compared to its opening day where Mark Antony collected Rs 8.35 crore, the hold is strong. On Saturday, the film jumped to Rs 9 crore, and on Sunday, peaked at Rs 10.1 crore in India. The sci-fi comedy has minted Rs 34.98 crore so far in India. Notably, the film has crossed the Rs 40 crore mark globally despite stiff competition from titles currently dominating the cinemas. 

What is Mark Antony based on?

The film focuses on a gang that is high on discipline, especially when it comes to treating women. With an honour code, they proceed and chance upon a machine from an inventor which allows them to communicate from past to present. Everything goes haywire after Vishal's character is sent back in time, and must confront his own father.
