Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi's film with Sujeeth gets an official title

Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's latest release Bro hit the big screens on July 28. A remake of the 2021 Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham, Bro has crossed Rs 100 crore internationally. Now, Pawan Kalyan is gearing up for his next film with director Sujeeth, and the makers have confirmed its title in a social media post.

• OG is being directed by Sujeeth, who directed Prabhas starrer Saaho (2019).
• It is slated to be a gangster drama.
• The shooting of the film kick-started in August, earlier this year. It has been shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Pawan Kalyan-Sujeeth's film titled revealed

The makers recently took to social media and confirmed the title of Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film. After a fan implored them to retain OG as the name of the film, the official account of DVV Entertainment on X (formerly known as Twitter) said that there is no other name for the film, and it will only be called OG (Original Gangster). OG to feature Emraan Hashmi

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is going to make his Tollywood debut with OG. Major portions of the film have been shot in Hyderabad and Mumbai.

However, Pawan Kalyan's political preoccupations kept him busy. In scenes that didn’t require the Bheemla Nayak actor’s presence, Emraan Hashmi shot major scenes in the film. He joined the film’s cast earlier this year.

OG also marks the return of Sujeeth’s return to direction after the Prabhas starrer Saaho. In OG, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and Priyanka Arul Mohan also play important roles. The plot of the film has been kept under wraps, but it is known to be an action entertainer with a strong crime drama element. Other than OG, Pawan Kalyan is also working on Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar.
