Cyclone Michaung wreaked havoc in Chennai and its adjacent regions, resulting in severe flooding that trapped numerous residents, including several celebrities. Among those affected was actor Vishnu Vishal, who found himself stranded in his housing colony due to the stagnant water. Fortunately, actor Ajith responded to Vishal's distress call via social media and coordinated a rescue operation, sending a team with a boat to aid the actor and his companion Aamir Khan, who was also stranded in Chennai. However, Bose Venkat raised question over Ajith's help to the actors on his social media handle and received backlash from netizens.

What did Bose Venkat say to Ajith?

Vishnu Vishal publicly expressed his gratitude to Ajith by sharing a picture featuring himself, Ajith, and Aamir Khan, acknowledging the actor's help during the crisis.

However, amid the appreciation for Ajith's rescue efforts, Bose Venkat, a veteran Tamil actor, took to his X account to voice his discontent. In his post, Venkat raised concerns about Ajith's assistance, questioning the actor's priorities and suggesting that Ajith should extend help to his fans as well, drawing attention to the plight of those who admire him.

As per English translation, Bose Venkat wrote, "Tamil Nadu will keep immigrants alive.. Tamil Nadu will protect all the northerners here....(You have a good connection).. but you never get a chance to hear the poor voice who likes you.. takes a ticket and sees you .,,( a bot left for him too)."

Bose Venkat's post garnered backlash from fans who defended Ajith, labelling Venkat's comments as unwarranted and suggesting that his views were unfounded. Fans redirected the blame toward the Tamil Nadu government instead, emphasising the need for greater government intervention during natural calamities.

Vishnu Vishal wrote, "Thanks to the fire and rescue department in helping people like us who are stranded. Rescue operations have started in karapakkam..Saw 3 boats functioning already. Great work by TN govt in such testing times. Thanks to all the administrative people who are working relentlessly."

Meanwhile, as per IMD Chennai, heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Nilgiris and Ghat areas of Coimbatore districts. Also, thunderstorm and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal area till December 9.
