DC X Review: Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi's actioner has finally hit the theatres today, August 7. The movie buffs who watched the early show are going berserk after watching the movie, lauding the director Arun Matheswaran, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and the actors for their performance. The film marks the acting debut of Lokesh, but the movie buffs believe he is an experienced actor, calling his performance "impressive".

What is the plot of DC?

Lokesh plays Devadas, a man with a violent past who finds himself on the run from the police after a police officer is killed. As authorities hunt for the murderer, Devadas also becomes entangled in a separate case involving stolen weapons, with both investigations eventually converging. Amid the chaos, Devadas shares a complicated relationship with Chandra. As betrayal, sacrifice and danger threaten their lives, the two are forced to rely on one another in a desperate fight for survival.

The film also features Sanjana Krishnamoorthy as Parvathi. Produced by Sun Pictures, the banner behind blockbusters such as Jailer, Beast, Annaatthe and Sarkar.
