Suriya’s humble gesture towards fans, who waited for his glimpse at Chennai airport, wins hearts

Suriya is one of the highly acclaimed actors from the Tamil film industry who enjoys a huge fan base in the country. Speaking of which, a video of the actor is going viral on the internet from Chennai airport showcasing his humble gesture towards his fans. The actor was leaving for Mumbai this morning from Chennai.

When fans asked Suriya for a selfie

In the viral video, Suriya can be seen entering the airport premises when his little fans asked for a selfie and the actor obliged. Throughout his way to the tarminal, he was continuously being asked for a selfie with the airport authorities and fans. However, the actor kept calm and smiled at everyone. Towards the end of the video, the actor took the phone from his fans and ed several selfies before finally leaving to catch his flight.

What 2024 holds for Suriya?

The actor is busy flying to and fro from Mumbai to Chennai. The actor was returning to Mumbai after attending Vijaykanth's house to pay his last respects after the missing actor's funeral. 

During that time, he attended the Kalaingar 100 event, marking the 100th birth anniversary of later writer and former TN Chief Minister Kalaingar Karunanidhi.

On the work front, the actor is busy with the shooting of Kanguva, helmed by Siruthai Siva. Co-starring Disha Patani, the makers have unveiled the teaser showcasing Suriya in a rugged avatar. The periodic-action drama stars Bobby Deol, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley in pivotal roles. Produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja, V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations, the film is slated to hit the theatres this year in the summer. Next, he will commence the shooting for 1965 Purananoor, helmed by Sudha Kongara.
