Viral: TMKOC Actor Munmun Dutta Embarrassed As Paps Tease Her With Jethalal's Name In Front Of Mom

Munmun Dutta became a household name with her role as Babitaji in the long-running comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Her track with Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal is one of the most loved parts of the show. It is common for her to be teased with Jethalal's name whenever she steps out in Mumbai or elsewhere. The same happened recently as Munmun was out and about with her mom in Mumbai.

Munmun appears exhausted with teasing by the paps

For her outing with her mom, Munmun opted for a white shirt and blue denim. She completed her look with white heels and a red bag. She kept her hair open and also informed those ing her pictures that it was her mom's birthday. However, in a lighter vein, the paparazzi teased her by calling out Jethalal's name, eliciting a response from the TMKOC actress. "Aapke birthday pe Jethaji ko zaror bulayenge," a pap said.

"Arey bhai, abhi toh rehne de bhai," Munmun replied as she looked visibly embarrassed with the reference of Jethalal as she stepped out with her real-life mom.  

TMKOC running into its 16th year now

The popular sitcom is currently running in its 16th year. With over 4000 episodes running, its is one of the most-loved and watched shows in the Indian TV landscape. Munmun has essayed the role of Babitaji since the show's inception in 2008. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is based on the famous column, Duniya Ne Undha Chashmah written by the eminent Gujarati writer, Tarak Mehta.
