SS Rajamoluli's SSMB29 is one of the most expensive and anticipated projects in Indian cinema. The director has signed Mahesh Babu as the star of his untitled next, dubbed as a jungle-set action-adventure film. Reportedly, the unit is moving to Odisha from March 6-20 to shoot some scenes. Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran's post about joining his next as an actor has stoked speculation that he is set to film for SSMBB29 during this two-week schedule.

After Priyanka, Prithviraj joins SSMB29 shoot?

While only Mahesh Babu's name has been confirmed as the cast of SSMB29, Priyanka Chopra too is rumored to be part of the project. Similarly, Prithviraj Sukumaran's name has been long associated with the project too. In his latest post, The Goat Life actor, who has been busy with directorial duties of Mohanlal's L2: EMpuraan, shared that he is in appearance for his next as actor.

"Finish and hand over film and all marketing assets on your directorial Get into appearance for your next as an actor Realise you have long monologues in a language that’s not native to you and start becoming nervous (sic)," Prithviraj's post read. Many believed that he was hinting at joining the shoot of SSMB29.

SSMB29: What do we know so far?

SSMB29 is said to be made on a massive budget. Reportedly, Priyanka has charged a whopping ₹30 crore for her role in the movie. Details about her character are under wraps. The actress had reportedly joined the cast and crew in Hyderabad earlier for shoot.

About the film, writer and the father of Rajamouli, Vijayendra Prasad said, "Mahesh had never attempted such a genre before, and Indian cinema has yet to see a grand, big-budget adventure thriller. Also, the film is aimed at international markets so what better than an adventure thriller? That was one of the main reasons we decided to set the story in this genre."
