Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga to commence shooting for Spirit next year?

Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of what is arguably one of the biggest upcoming releases - Salaar. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel, was initially slated for a release on September 28. However, the film got postponed and will now be hitting theatres on December 22. Following this, the actor has multiple big banner projects lined up for release. Among them, is Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit.

Has Prabhas set a time frame for Sandeep Reddy Vanga?

Both Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga have a lot on their plate as of now. Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently awaiting the release of Ranbir Kapoor led Animal which will be hitting theatres on December 1. Post this, the director will be free to devote time to Prabhas' Spirit. Prabhas on the other hand is tied up with the pre-release commitments of Salaar. Post Salaar's release, the actor has committed time to Raja Deluxe, directed by Maruthi.

It is only around March-April of next year that the actor-director duo will be able to commence work on Spirit. If reports are to be believed, Prabhas has set a tight timeline for Vanga so as to be able to cover palpable ground on the project come Spring. Vanga reportedly has the first draft of the script ready and will be working on enhancing post the release of Animal.

Salaar promises to be an action-packed ride

Salaar being an action extravaganza is no surprise. However, a recent source-based report relayed how the film has allegedly made use of over 75- tanks, jeeps and vehicles in the film.

The source said, "Over 750 different vehicles including jeeps, tanks, trucks, etc were procured for the shoot of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire as there is a lot of on-ground action in the movie. It was as big as any big war sequence of any Hollywood movie."
