Vijay Deverakonda praises Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Vijay talked about the time when the Kushi filming was put on hold for several months while they waited for Samantha to recover from myositis. The actor said, “There was no other option. I don’t even think we did something great, I think that was the only option we had. We were okay to wait, we were not in a great hurry. For us, she matters and we know how much she contributes to the film, and her health matters. Everybody (decided) to just wait. If it is just six months, we wait. If it is one year, we wait.
Vijay also suggested doing the second half 10 years later and finishing this movie with a happy marriage and centering the journey around it. The Liger Star added waiting for Samantha was worth it and they were grateful to her for working so hard despite her myositis struggles.
