Foods That Trigger Migraine Attack

Alcohol: According to WebMD, a chemical called ethanol is alcohol's main ingredient. Once it gets into your system, it is converted into a chemical that triggers migraine. Ethanol is also a natural diuretic.
Chocolate: According to the American Migraine Foundation, chocolate is the second most common triggering food for migraine. Chocolates contain good amounts of caffeine beta-phenylethylamine, which can trigger migraine in some people.
Fermented Foods: It contains tyramine which can trigger migraine attacks in those who are sensitive. Pickles, kimchi, kombucha, and pickled okra are some examples of fermented foods that you should avoid for migraine.
Frozen Foods: Consuming too much frozen foods such as ice cream can trigger migraine attacks. It can also trigger when eating frozen foods too quickly, after exercising or when overheating, and has the potential to cause headaches that can turn into migraine headaches.
