Heart-Stopping Bengaluru Crash: Car Hits Divider, 2 Flung Out as It Rolls Over | WATCH

Bengaluru: A 20-year-old man died, and four others were injured in a horrific car crash in Karnataka after their vehicle hit a divider at high speed and flipped four times before coming to a stop. The impact was so severe that two people were thrown out of the car onto the road as it rolled over.

The accident occurred early Monday morning on a highway near Kattihosahalli in Doddaballapur taluk, police said.

Shocking CCTV Footage Captures the Crash

A video of the incident showed the speeding car hitting a divider, climbing onto the traffic island, and flipping multiple times. The force of the crash sent two passengers flying out of the vehicle.

As the car flipped a third time, its front half landed on the road, and by the fourth flip, the entire vehicle was back on the tarmac. The video ended with the wrecked car lying on its side, while one of its wheels kept rolling away on the other side of the highway. A survivor was also seen exiting the car after it came to a stop.

Driver Dies, Four Others Injured

According to police, the car was traveling from Dharwad to Vijayapura in Devanahalli taluk when the accident happened.

"The car's driver, Mohammad Yunus (20), died of his injuries during treatment. Four other occupants of the vehicle are injured and have been hospitalized," said a police official.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident, and preliminary findings suggest that over-speeding may have led to the crash.
