TCS Employee in Agra Commits Suicide, Accuses Wife of Extramarital Affair: 'Think About Man'

Agra: An IT company TCS manager from Agra allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself. He also made a video before his death. In this video, he told how his wife tortured him. The video is now going viral.

Agra TCS Employee Suicide Case 

Man named Manav Sharma hanged himself from the fan in his room and committed suicide on Monday, 24 February. He also made a video before committing suicide. In the morning, when the family saw Manav hanging from the fan. The family took Manav to the hospital, but by then it was too late.

Manav Sharma, a resident of Defence Colony, Sadar, was working as a recruitment manager in TCS Company, Mumbai. His father Narendra Sharma is retired from the Air Force and Manav was his only son. Manav got married a year ago on 30 January 2024. It is alleged that his wife started harassing him since the marriage, he took his wife with him to Mumbai.

Sharma made a 6.57 minute video before narrating his ordeal. In video, he said that “please think of men too, please, someone should talk about men. Poor guys are very lonely, sorry Papa Mummy, sorry Akku. Everything will be fine once I am gone, please don't bother my family about my suicide.”

Manav's wife however has denied all the allegations and called him an alcoholic.

Sharma’s family tried to file a complaint with Sadar Police, but failed to do so. finally the family escalated the matter to the CM portal.

Agra Sadar police registered a case on Thursday night based on a complaint received via WhatsApp and have now launched an investigation in this matter.

The incident draws a comparison to the Subhash suicide case, who was also an IT employee and died by suicide after a failed marriage.
