Agniveer Martyred, Two Injured In Land Mine Blast In Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch

At least three army personnel have been injured after a mine explosion was reported in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch.

Poonch: At least one Army jawan – Agniveer – has been martyred and two others injured after a mine explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch on Friday.

White Knight Corps took to X and wrote, “#GOC #WhiteKnightCorps and all ranks pay solemn tribute to Agniveer Lalit Kumar of 7 JAT Regiment, who made the supreme sacrifice, while on an area domination patrol in general area of Krishna Ghati brigade on 25 July 2025, following a mine blast. We stand with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.”

The explosion took place when the jawans were on a patrolling round in Poonch's Krishna Ghati near the Line of Control (LoC). One of the injured include a JCO who is being treated at a hospital and is currently stable.
