Pakistani Woman Arrives in Jammu After Marrying CRPF Jawan

Jammu: A Pakistani woman has arrived in Jammu after marrying Muneer Ahmed, a CRPF jawan from Bhalwal, Jammu. The women has been identified as Menal Khan from Punjab region of Pakistan.

Officials informed Republic that Muneer Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed, is currently posted with the CRPF at Shiv Khouri in Reasi district and married Menal Khan, on May 24, 2024, through an online video conference.

"Menal is daughter of Mohd Asgar Khan from Kotli Faqir Chand, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan. Keeping in view the sensitivity, we are keeping a vigil on her movement," he added.

Late last night, Menal Khan reached Handwal village in Tehsil Bhalwal, after securing a 15-day visa from the authorities. She entered India via the Attari-Wagah Border in Punjab, where she was received by her in-laws.
