Who Was Saurabh Rajput, Merchant Navy Officer Killed by Wife, Lover; Body Chopped Into Pieces

Meerut: Saurabh Rajput, a young Merchant Navy officer from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, was brutally murdered by his wife, Muskan Rastogi, and her lover, Sahil Shukla. The gruesome murder shocked entire UP when the Rajput's chopped body was found in 15 pieces, sealed in a drum filled with cement. 

A Doting father and Husband   
Saurabh Rajput was a dedicated professional who had recently returned from London on February 24 to celebrate his daughter's sixth birthday but soon went missing on March 4. The investigation revealed a tale of betrayal, as his wife and her lover confessed to the heinous crime.

Body Found in Cement Drum
According to police reports, Muskan and Sahil planned the murder while Saurabh was still in London. Muskan, Saurabh's wife said to have mixed sleeping pills into Saurabh's food, making him unconscious. The duo then stabbed him to death, dismembered his body, and sealed the remains in a drum with cement to decompose it. To avoid suspicion, they used Saurabh's phone to send misleading messages to his family and friends.

Cold Blooded Murder
The crime came to light when neighbors reported a foul smell coming from the couple's rented apartment. Upon investigation, Meerut police found the drum containing Saurabh's remains. Both Muskan and Sahil have been arrested and charged with murder and destruction of evidence.

Family in Grief
This gruesome murder case from Meerut has left people in shock. Saurabh's family, who had initially opposed his marriage to Muskan, are now in pain with the devastating loss of their son.
