Suvendu Adhikari's Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Bengal's Kolaghat Due To Bad Weather

New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s helicopter made an emergency landing in Kolaghat on Tuesday after inclement weather and heavy rainfall disrupted his flight, according to reports.

The helicopter was flying when worsening weather conditions forced the pilot to make an emergency landing in Kolaghat, in East Midnapore district. The incident occurred amid heavy rain and adverse weather conditions prevailing across parts of West Bengal.

Adhikari was travelling by helicopter as part of his scheduled engagements in the state. The decision to land was taken as weather conditions made it difficult to continue the flight safely.

The chief minister and those accompanying him were reported to be safe following the landing. No injuries or damage have been reported so far.
