Ratlam: A video going viral on social media shows a half-naked man on the streets of Ratlam shouting and screaming, accusing doctors and hospital staff of minting money from his family and keeping him bedridden.

Ratlam Viral Video 

The man said to be in a coma walked out of a hospital in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh , and accused the doctors of extorting money from his family. A video in this matter has also surfaced on social media that shows a man and his family literally standing on the street.

The man, identified as Bunty Ninama, was admitted to a private hospital in Ratlam after sustaining injuries a few days back. According to his family, the hospital authorities informed them that Ninama had suffered a severe spinal fracture and had slipped into a coma. Fearing for his life, his family struggled to arrange the hefty sum of ₹1 lakh demanded by the hospital for his treatment. They borrowed money from relatives and friends to pay the fees.

MP Video Goes Viral 
Ninama, who was presumed to be unconscious in the ICU, walked out of the hospital room looking perfectly fine. In a viral video circulating online, he can be seen casually walking out with syringes still attached to his body. Ninama revealed that he had been physically restrained by five hospital staff members who demanded money from his family. He accused the hospital of holding him captive and extorting money under fake medical treatment.

MP Viral Video Public Reaction
The video has surprised many, asking questions about the ethics of private hospitals and calling for stricter regulations. Social media platforms have been flooded with comments condemning the hospital's actions and demanding justice for Ninama and his family. One user commented, “Private hospitals need regulation and ethics classes… Doctors are becoming extortionists and blackmailers.”

Hospital's Response
The hospital administration, on the other hand, has denied the allegations, claiming that Ninama's total bill was ₹8,000, including medication and other charges. They released CCTV footage showing Ninama causing a commotion inside the ICU and verbally abusing doctors. The hospital authorities have lodged a complaint against Ninama at the Industrial Area Police Station, alleging that he has a criminal history.

Now the matter is under police investigation, and only time will tell who is telling the truth.
