Delhi: Delhi NCR has long been known for its bustling food scene, shopping districts, nightlife and cultural heritage. Today, however, a new trend is reshaping how people spend their leisure time. Increasingly, consumers are choosing pottery workshops over shopping trips, heritage walks over conventional sightseeing, culinary masterclasses over routine dining, wellness retreats over weekend routines, and immersive experiences that create lasting memories.
Alive App, India's first full-stack platform for curated and original experiences, is bringing this shift to the capital with its launch in Delhi NCR, marking another milestone in the company's rapid national expansion.
In under a year, Alive App has recorded 90x revenue growth, expanded rapidly across India's leading cities, and is targeting ₹100 crore ARR by March 2027. Backed by Powerhouse Ventures and leading angel investors/operators, the company continues to build India's fastest-growing experience ecosystem by connecting consumers with unique, high-quality experiences while enabling creators to grow sustainable businesses.
The Delhi NCR launch introduces over 80 curated experiences across adventure, creativity, wellness, food, art, culture and community. Since launch, Alive App has onboarded over 40 local creators and hosted hundreds of participants across the region. The most popular category so far has been DIY (Do It Yourself) and wellness activities while city-exclusive experiences include picnics, shooting, hiking trails, archery, pottery, coffee brewing amongst others.
Delhi's launch reflects a broader shift unfolding across urban India. Consumers are increasingly prioritising experiences that offer novelty, creativity, learning, social connection and personal growth. From outdoor adventures and creative workshops to food explorations, cultural walks and wellness activities, experiential spending is becoming an increasingly meaningful part of discretionary consumption.

Alive App's own growth mirrors this evolution. The platform has expanded to over 500 experiences from 160 in less than a year, more than doubling its inventory across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, Mumbai and now Delhi NCR. Alongside this expansion, Alive continues to build one of India's largest networks of experience creators, operators and hosts, helping transform passion-led activities into scalable businesses.
Unlike traditional activity marketplaces, Alive App combines AI-powered discovery with a full-stack technology platform that enables creators to design, launch, manage and scale experiences. The platform powers everything from creator onboarding and inventory management to bookings, content workflows and customer engagement, allowing Alive to deliver high-quality experiences at scale while helping local creators reach wider audiences.
From immersive workshops and culinary discoveries to adventure activities, cultural experiences and wellness sessions, Alive believes Delhi NCR is uniquely positioned to become one of India's strongest experience markets. With its diverse population, thriving creator ecosystem and growing appetite for meaningful leisure, the region presents significant opportunities for both creators and consumers.
The company believes this signals a larger shift in consumer behaviour. As urban Indians increasingly seek richer and more fulfilling ways to spend their time, experiences are beginning to occupy the same habitual space once reserved for restaurants, shopping malls and movie theatres.
With Delhi NCR joining its growing network, Alive now operates across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, Mumbai and Delhi, offering more than 500 curated experiences spanning adventure, creativity, wellness, food, art, culture and community. The company plans to continue expanding into more cities while growing its creator ecosystem and introducing new original experiences across India.
