Pune: Stryker, a global medical technology company, has collaborated with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rohit Luthra to establish a Centre of Excellence focused on robotic-assisted Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) hip replacement at Arcus Hospital in Pune.
The initiative is intended to bring together robotic-assisted surgical technology and clinical expertise in hip replacement, while also providing a platform for surgeon education and training in the region.
The centre will focus on hip replacement procedures performed through the Direct Anterior Approach, a surgical technique in which the hip joint is accessed from the front of the body through an interval between muscles.
