Ananya Panday turns showstopper for Rimzim Dadu at India Couture Week

Ananya Panday was recently on a family trip to Ibiza with her parents and sister. The actress has now  jumped right back into work after returning to India. She recently turned showstopper for designer Rimzim Dadu's show at the India Couture Week.

Ananya Panday turns showstopper for Rimzim Dadu

Ananya Panday walked the ramp, closing the show for designer Rimzim Dadu. Dadu marked her debut at the India Couture Week. Ananya's colour palette for the evening was muted gold with the ensemble riding high on texture. The actress' fit was true to the play of metallic-heavy texture that Rimzim Dadu's work is known for.

The actress was seen in a metallic halter bralette which she  paired with a svelte, form-fitting asymmetrical skirt. The waist band too carried the metallic aesthetic partially carrying on down to the body of the skirt with the rest of its length carrying ample texture. The skirt stood embellished with vines of leaves trailing down the asymmetrical hem, matching the ensemble's colour tone for tone. A silken lining in a paler gold broke the monotony of the look.

India Couture Week is a star-studded event

Seasoned Indian designers will present their work across the 9-day long event. This year's edition, the 16th of its kind, opened with Falguni Shane Peacock, with Kiara Advani turning showstopper for them. Ritu Kumar, Suneet Verma, Varun Bahl, Gaurav Gupta, Kunal Rawal, JJ Valaya, Rohit Gandhi and Rohit Khanna and Tarun Tahiliani, have already showcased their work at the event. Notably, Ranbir Kapoor turned showstopper for Kunal Rawal.
