India on Sunday defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets to win the Asia Cup title for the record eighth time. India put on a clinical show thanks to Mohammed Siraj's dominating spell in the powerplay that saw Sri Lanka getting bowled out for just 50 runs. Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan then finished the brief run chase for India as they reached the target in 6.1 overs. This was one of the shortest finals ever played in the history of the game.

1. Shubman Gill

The Indian opener finished the Asia Cup 2023 as the top run-scorer with 302 runs from six innings. Gill scored one century and two fifties in the tournament. 

2. Rohit Sharma (c)

The Indian skipper was phenomenal with the bat throughout the competition having scored 194 runs in five innings. Rohit smashed three fifties in the tournament.

3. Kusal Mendis

Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Mendis was the second-highest scorer of the tournament. He scored 270 runs in six innings including three fifties in the Asia Cup 2023. 

4. Mohammad Rizwan (wk)

Mohammad Rizwan achieved the top batting average among all the batters in the 2023 Asia Cup. In the tournament, he batted four times and scored 195 runs in 4 innings. 

5. Hardik Pandya

Hardik had only two opportunities to showcase his batting prowess. One of those instances was a crucial innings of 87 runs against Pakistan. On the bowling front, he managed to claim at least one wicket in every match. 

6. Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib played a crucial role as the linchpin at No.4 in the Bangladesh batting lineup. His composed innings of 80 off 85 balls, particularly against India in their tournament-ending match, proved instrumental. 

7. Dunith Wellalage

Wellalage enjoyed a breakthrough tournament, notably excelling in his bowling performance. He truly shone in the match against India, where he had a dream performance, taking five wickets and also contributing an unbeaten 42 runs with the bat.

8. Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep emerged with the second-best bowling average, trailing only behind Hardik Pandya. His remarkable performance also helped him win the player of the tournament award.

9. Haris Rauf

Rauf may not have been Pakistan's top wicket-taker in the tournament but he made the most significant impact with the ball. He picked up 9 wickets in 4 innings before getting injured. 

10. Jasprit Bumrah

Bumrah was India's primary bowler in the powerplay and he fulfilled his role beautifully by providing early breakthrougs. He picked up 4 wickets in 3 innings. 

11. Mohammed Siraj

Siraj left an indelible mark on the 2023 Asia Cup final, delivering a historic bowling performance with a remarkable spell of 6-21. He finished as the joint second-highest wicket-taker.
