Australia posted a first-innings total of 208/3 in the IND vs AUS T20I match being played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The Indian team will be aiming to avenge its 2023 ODI World Cup final, which was held just three days back in Ahmedabad.

Steve Smith gets out for one of the most bizarre manners during the IND vs AUS 1st T20I match 

The Australian cricket team was sent into bat first during the first India vs Australia 1st T20I match and put up an explosive batting display. While Josh Inglis scored a hundred, Aussie batter Steve Smith slammed a half-century. However, apart from scoring a half-century, Smith also became a victim of a bizarre run-out. During the fifth ball of the 16th over, Australian batter Smith played a shot towards the short fine leg and fell in the middle of the pitch while sneaking a single. Smith was not able to reach the crease and got run out for a score of 52 runs.

Josh Inglis' ton takes Australia to 208/3 in Vizag

After being sent into bat first by Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav, the Australian team started to hit boundaries from the first over. Australia's run rate certainly increased when Josh Inglis came into bat at number three. He slammed his maiden T20I ton and hit a total of 11 fours and eight sixes. Apart from Inglis, Steve Smith also hit a total of eight fours in his 52 run knock.
