Australia's opener David Warner, who is well-known for his aggressive batting approach and wide variety of shots, displayed his T20 cricket skill on the first day of the first Test match against Pakistan in Perth. He produced a spectacular shot when he hit the ball over the long leg with a bold flap off the second delivery of the 21st over from Shaheen Afridi. The spectators and commentators were stunned by this surprise action; Pakistani legend Wasim Akram, who was commentating during the Test, called the shot "unbelievable."
After winning the toss, Australia chose to bat first, leaving Pakistan to contend with the intense heat at Perth Stadium. During the first innings of Australia vs Pakistan, David Warner stands out with an incredible 138 in 173 deliveries (not-out), partnered by Travis Head in the 60.5 overs as Australia stands at 260/3.
