South Africa squads for series against India unveiled, Kagiso Rabada rested from ODIs & T20Is

India and South Africa are all set to lock horns against each other in a bilateral series starting on December 10. The series will consist of three T20Is and as many ODIs, followed by two Tests. Cricket South Africa unveiled the squads for all three formats. There are many new faces in the squads this time around. Aiden Markram will lead the side in the white-ball leg of the series. 

Temba Bavuma and Kagiso Rabada have been rested for the T20Is and ODIs. They are expected to return for the Test matches that will take from December 26 onward. Gerald Coetzee, Marco Jansen, and Lungi Ngidi will be absent from the upcoming final T20I and the subsequent ODI series as they opt to hone their skills for the red-ball format. Their preparation will involve participating in first-class matches for their respective domestic teams.
