Australia defeated India by six wickets to win the 2023 edition of the ODI World Cup. Travis Head played a fabulous knock to beat an undefeated India in the final of the marquee event at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. This is Australia's sixth ODI World Cup title and their first since 2015. The Aussies did it in front of 100,000-plus Indian fans at the gigantic stadium in Gujarat.

The cricket world has gone berserk after Australia's sensational win over Australia. Take a look at some of the top comments on X after Australia's historic victory. 

Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to field first in the final. India were bowled out for 240 runs in 50 overs with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scoring a half-century each. Australia then chased down the target in 43 overs. Travis Head smashed a fantastic century to help his team achieve the target. He was named the player of the match.
