England coach Matthew Mott slams Eoin Morgan

Eoin’s entitled to his opinion. He hasn’t been in and around the rooms, but I’ll certainly take that up with him and have a chat to him. I don’t think anyone that’s inside our tent at the moment would say that, despite our results. We’re an incredibly tightknit unit. Dave Humphreys was flabbergasted just how tight the unit was when he came in to observe us, given the results that we’ve had. There’s every opportunity when you’re losing to splinter and go your separate ways. I can only say from my opinion the group’s been incredibly strong in that part. If you see our training sessions, they’re full of fun. People are putting their arms around each other, trying to help them. It’s easy to do that when you’re winning, it’s a lot harder when you’re losing. I’m proud that we keep trying to get up.

England have a tough task ahead

England looked like a pale of shadow as they have barely been into their own self. They do have a plethora of quality players but something has not ed so far. Skipper Jos Buttler hasn't lifted his game up to the mark while Ben Stokes seems to be entangled in his injury crisis. The bowling unit also has failed to add that spark and it has been reflected in their game plan. The Three Lions are now in dire need of winning the rest of the matches and should they be able to get it done they also will have to depend on others given their poor run rate. Former English skipper Eoin Morgan had claimed that there might be some issue with the team morale but Matthew Mott refuted it by claiming that there hasn't been such a case in the England squad. They will take on arch-rivals Australia in a do or die World Cup clash.
