Afghanistan's mystery spinner Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman's video of him meeting a young fan had gone viral after Afghanistan thrashed England in the World Cup encounter.
Afghanistan defeated defending champions England by 69 runs in a one-sided affair as mystery spinner Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman dismantled England's batting order and was also supported by Rashid Khan. The duo picked up 6 wickets and because of their effort, England was all-out for 215 runs while chasing a target of 284 runs.

Mujeeb meets a young fan after the Afghanistan outclass England
Afghani spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman dedicated his Player of the Match award to the earthquake victims in Afghanistan. However, the win was very special for Afghanistan and it had a lot of emotions attached to it. Such emotions were seen on the field as a young kid was seen hugging Mujeeb and started crying.
Mujeeb reveals details about the young fan
It was previously reported that the young kid hugging Mujeeb was an Afghan fan but the mystery spinner shared a post on social media platform X, in which he shared the details of the young kid and stated that he was not an Afghan fan but an Indian fan instead. Here's what Mujeeb wrote;
Mujeeb picked three wickets in the game and his first wicket was of England's top batsman, Joe Root and he doubled his wicket column with the wicket of in-form of Harry Brook who was threatening to take the game away from Afghanistan.
Mujeeb's final scalp came in the form of Chris Woakes as the mystery spinner disturbed the latter's furniture to end England's hopes of winning the game.
Mujeeb dedicated his Player of the Match award to all the earthquake victims in Afghanistan. Afghanistan will play against New Zealand in their next match in Chennai on Wednesday, October 18.
