India have always had the upper hand against Bangladesh in ICC tournaments and they will look to keep their dominance intact

3 things you need to know:

  • India are currently second on the ODI World Cup points table
  • Shakib Al Hasan had to miss out due to a niggle
  • Bangladesh have won only one out of their three previous World Cup fixtures

Virat Kohli amuses fans and cricket experts with a rarely-used skill

Much to India's dismay, vice captain and all-rounder Hardik Pandya picked up an injury as he tried to stop a Litton Das boundary that was played straight down the ground. Pandya attempted to stop the boundary and slipped in the process while he was in his followthrough. As soon as the physio came in and had a look, he decided to tape Pandya's ankle and the Gujarat Titans skipper had to be hurried back to the dressing room.

With three balls still remaining, former India captain Virat Kohli took the onus on himself and decided to complete the over himself. There was a huge roar around the stadium as soon as the fans spotted Kohli making his way to the bowler's mark with the ball in his hands. Even the commentators gasped in excitement as soon as Kohli steamed in to complete the 9th over.
