Arteta has 'full faith' in Arsenal's recruitment after Adams criticism

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has "full faith" in the club's director of football Raul Sanllehi and technical director Edu following criticism from Tony Adams.

The former Arsenal captain insisted in an interview with radio station Talksport that the pair are 'out of their depths' at Emirates Stadium, and said they had 'dropped a bomb' on the club's scouting network.

Adams added that Edu doesn't have the experience to put together a squad that can compete in Europe and that Sanllehi won't be given the sort of financial backing he enjoyed while holding the same role at Barcelona.

Arteta defended the pair, saying: "That's not the issue, for sure."
