Donald Trump Unveils Club World Cup 2025 Trophy, Commissions Task Force To Prepare For 2026 FIFA World Cup

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is fast approaching as the world's biggest football tournament will be taking place in the United States of America this time. After the previous FIFA World Cup in 2022 which was won by Argentina in Qatar, Argentina will be looking to defend their title. As the United States of America is busy preparing for the 2026 World Cup, second time elected president recently met with FIFA president Gianni Infantino and unveiled the trophy for the FIFA Club World Cup which will also be taking place in the USA in 2025.

Ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, US President Donald Trump met with Gianni Infantino as the two together revealed the trophy for the upcoming tournament. The unveiling of the trophy was done inside the White House which is the official residence of the president of the United States.

Donald Trump Approves Task Force For 2026 World Cup  

US President Donald Trump during his meeting with Gianni Infantino approved a task force which will assist in the preparations for the massive tournament. Donald Trump will also be the chairman of this task force and will personally oversee its functions.

Following the making of the task force, Donald Trump thanked FIFA officials as he stated that it was a great honour for the United States of America to host the tournament. 

“It’s a great honor for our country to have it," said Donald Trump after his meeting with FIFA officials.
