Day two of the GOAT India tour ended successfully without a fuss. Two seamless events were hosted at the CCI in Brabourne and the Wankhdede Stadium, with memories built for a lifetime.

Lionel Messi has reached the Brabourne Stadium to take part in the GOAT India tour.

When India is bidding for 2036 Olympics, when India is hosting 2030 Commonwealth Games, when India is hosting World Police Games...During those competitions, the competitor may raise the question of whether Kolkata or West Bengal is not prepared to host  an international event, perhaps the management or the government is not mature enough to do this. So I think this will cost Bengal, this will cost Kolkata for the next 50 years..."

On the chaos at Football star Lionel Messi's event at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata yesterday, CV Ananda Bose says, "... The steps to be taken include a judicial inquiry into the matter. Number two, arrest of the organisers. Number three, refund the ticket money paid by the public. Number four, immediately freeze the account of the organiser. Number five, there should be a standard operating procedure for congregation management in every city, particularly in Kolkata. There should also be an insurance scheme where the spectators should be insured, with the premium to be paid by the organiser."

Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Satya Narayan, has said that adequate arrangements have been made to ensure that the Messi India tour in Mumbai goes seamlessly. 

Lionel Messi fans have flocked to the Mumbai Local trains to reach the event venue where the Argentine footballer will arrive and meet the fans.

Delhi Police DCP Nishant Gupta says, "The traffic police have designated three parking areas, including P1 near Vikram Nagar. These are the main parking zones for labelled vehicles. Vehicles without labels should be parked at the Rajghat Powerhouse parking lot and Mata Sundari Lane, from where pedestrians can walk to the event. App-based taxi users are also advised to drop off at Rajghat Chowk and walk the rest of the way. Parking is strictly forbidden around Arun Jaitley Stadium; vehicles parked there will be towed and fined. To make things easier, the public is encouraged to use the metro or buses as much as possible to reduce congestion and enjoy the game comfortably."

He adds, "Around 70 of our personnel are deployed as part of a comprehensive security setup. We have not set up many diversions so far, and any will only be introduced if needed. Existing diversions, if implemented, will be from Delhi Gate Chowk and ITO. During VIP movements, traffic may be slightly slowed to ensure the players' buses can arrive and enter the stadium without issues... As public movement will commence around 11:00 am, people should particularly avoid Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, ITO, Delhi Gate, Netaji Subhash Marg, and Brijmohan Chowk from 10:00 am until the event concludes at 5:00 pm."

After the Kolkata chaos, the Mumbai Police is not taking lightly and has meticulously planned the security for Lionel Messi in the city. Around 30-38K crowd is expected across the venues.

E Road: Southbound from D Road to C Road junction.

Chandra Bose Road (northbound): Netaji Subhash Air India Junction to Mafatlal Junction.
Coastal Road (southbound): Worli/Tardeo to Marine Drive.
Coastal Road (northbound): Marine Drive to Worli/Tardeo.

Messi is expected to join the legendary Sachin Tendulkar for an event at the Cricket Club of India at around 4:30 PM IST on Sunday. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma could also reportedly grace the occasion with their presence. He is then expected to move to Wankhede Stadium, where an exhibition match with Bollywood celebrities is planned at around 5 PM IST.

The event will then shift to a fashion show where Messi will auction his Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup memorabilia. Messi is also scheduled to take part in the ‘GOAT Football Clinic', an initiative of the Maharashtra government where he is expected to offer tips and advice to several children. Indian football icon Sunil Chhetri has also confirmed his presence in Mumbai.
