Reaction after Rennes lose 2-1 to Chelsea in the Champions League

Reaction from Julien Stephan after a stoppage-time goal from substitute Olivier Giroud gave Chelsea a 2-1 victory over Rennes in Champions League Group E on Tuesday. Callum Hudson-Odoi had given Frank Lampard's visitors the lead midway through the first half, but after Serhou Guirassy equalised for Rennes five minutes from time, it seemed that the spoils would be shared.

However, Giroud had other ideas and with 10 points from four games to date, Chelsea qualify for the knockout phase with two games to spare. Sevilla joined the 'Blues' on 10 points and also go into the round of 16 after they won 2-1 at Krasnodar in Russia.
