What could be Romelu Lukaku’s next club?

Romelu Lukaku's loan spell at Inter Milan ended last month, and the player is under contract with Chelsea until 2026. According to recent reports, the Belgian star intended to stay at Inter Milan, but the club does not have enough funds to sign the striker on a permanent deal.

The Belgian striker’s current market value is estimated to be around €40.00 million. Mauricio Pochettino, the new Chelsea manager, does not include the Belgian star in his plans as he looks to rebuild his squad. The striker was offered a lucrative deal in the Saudi Pro League, but the player rejected the offer to continue in Europe. Juventus, on the other hand, is linked with signing the striker, but that deal looks to be shattered after the recent incident after the Juventus match.

Juventus Fans protest against the signing of Lukaku

Fans of Juventus took to the field at the Allianz Stadium to protest the possible signing of Romelu Lukaku. They did this in a very emotional way. There have been a lot of rumours about the skilled but controversial Chelsea striker joining the famous Italian football team. But the fans are strongly against this move because Lukaku used to play for Inter Milan.

In 2019, Lukaku joined Inter Milan and had a lot of success there. He scored an amazing 64 goals in 95 games and helped them win the Serie A title under Antonio Conte's leadership. After his second stay with Chelsea, which cost the club a huge £97.5 million, he didn't do much, so he went back to Inter on loan the year before.

Juventus have been looking into the idea of getting Lukaku out of his tough situation at Stamford Bridge and giving him a chance to start over. After a convincing 8-0 win over their reserve squad on Wednesday, passionate fans boldly opposed the signing of Romelu Lukaku. These fans gathered on the pitch and chanted, "Lukaku, not welcome here!"

This incident continues the Curva Sud group's banner-borne anger. The banner advised the Belgian striker not to join the club. The message was cheeky: "Lukaku, remain in Milan, for we already possess a secondary goalkeeper."

Anti-Lukaku shouts in the stands expressed the attitude. The strength of these feelings led several supporters to break the pitch's bounds, prompting security to form a protective formation near the tunnel.
