A huge fight in the offing
It's always entertaining to talk about fantasy fights, and White might well be setting one up for UFC fans. White recently made an appearance on the "Full Send Podcast" and revealed a potential bombshell on future plans. When asked if a "super fight" was in the works, UFC president Dana White delivered an unexpected response.
"There is," White said. "We're talking about one right now, actually, that just popped up a few days ago. So, I can't talk about it."
"Well, every fight that you would consider a super fight would involve McGregor, but this one isn't, no."

Is UFC 300 the target event for the fight?
Of course, considering that the last month of UFC action this year has gone off without a hitch, such a fight is unlikely to take place until at least 2024. Many would speculate that White is referring to UFC 300 for such a large fight, but he has not verified the likely date.
UFC 296 will be the final pay-per-view event of 2023, featuring a welterweight title battle between champion Leon Edwards and Colby Covington.
