NBA 2019-20: Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics player ratings

Philadelphia 76ers started NBA 2019-20 season with a 93-107 win against Boston Celtics. Though both teams did not play well on the offensive front, Celtics were trailing with only four points at the start of Q4. The Sixers got in two straight 3s, increasing the score difference to double digits, after which Celtics was unable to make a comeback as the Sixers' defence managed to hold them back.

Ben Simmons was the top scorer for the Sixers with 24 points, eight rebounds and nine assists on 11-of-16 from the field. Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Joel Embiid and Josh Richardson also scored in double digits. Gordon Hayward of Boston Celtics finished the game with 25 points. 4-of-18 shooting. Kemba Walker scored 12 points on 4-of-18 shooting for the team. Overall, the Sixers had a more dominant defence.
